Finn Balor Believes Edge Looked Down On The Rest Of The Judgement Day Due To His Seniority On The WWE Roster
Finn Balor wasn’t a fan of the attitude Edge gave off with him.
Balor, Priest, & Ripley turned on Edge after WWE Hell in a Cell, where Edge helped lead Ripley & Priest to victory over Balor, AJ Styles, & Liv Morgan. Balor would join the stable first, before Priest, Rhea and Balor would dismantle the WWE Hall Of Famer and take him out of action for quite some time.
Finn Balor spoke about attacking Edge while appearing on WWE El Brunch.
“I wouldn’t say we were friends, we were more colleagues. I have a lot of colleagues, very few friends. This idea of senior wrestlers wanting to control the more junior wrestlers, or how they see as junior wrestlers, is too old school and not very forward thinking and not something I appreciated. I don’t like to look down on people or be looked down on. I feel that’s what Edge was doing to Priest, Rhea, and myself and we needed to put a stop to that.”
