Drew McIntyre Found Out About Karrion Kross’ Return At The Last Minute, Says Kross Deserves This Opportunity

On the August 5 episode of WWE SmackDown, Karrion Kross made his return to WWE, attacking Drew McIntyre. Scarlett was also with him and he stared down Roman Reigns to end that edition of SmackDown.

Kross was released by WWE in November 202 after being moved to the main roster during the summer as NXT Champion.

Speaking to Chris Van Vliet on Insight, McIntyre commented on Kross’ return.

“I was very surprised. I didn’t know until the very last second. Let’s just say it’s somebody who has worked hard for an opportunity, deserves the opportunity, and is getting the biggest opportunity of his career. Unfortunately for him, it’s not going to come at Drew McIntyre’s expense,”

Time will tell when Kross and McIntyre will face off in the ring, but McIntyre will be facing Roman Reigns at WWE Clash At The Castle next month for the WWE Universal Championships.
