The AEW big man believes its only a matter of time until he reaches the top of AEW.
Appearing on Busted Open Radio, Archer was asked what it would take for him to be the top guy in a company. Archer has previously challenged for the AEW World Title, coming up short in his quest for the championship.
“This business, as you know, is other people making decisions. What’s it going to take? It’s going to take that person, those people, those moments, to make those choices and the decisions to put me in those positions. Not that I’ve been put in bad positions, I’ve been put in great positions, but just never been put in ‘the’ position. I think it’s a matter of time, hopefully I don’t run out of time in my career, that someone says, ‘Screw it. Lance’s time is now, we’re going to make sure it’s now, and nothing is going to stop that,'”

Archer had a well-received bout against Kazuchika Okada on the August 16 in the final night of block action in the G1 Climax 32 tournament. While he did not come away with the victory in the match, Archers excursion to Japan does not appear to be over as he is expected to feature on the G1 Climax 32 tournament finals event.
