Thunder Rosa Discusses The Challenges Of Being AEW Women’s World Champion
The champ speaks about her challenging first reign as AEW Women’s World Champion.
Thunder Rosa has been AEW Women’s Champion since AEW Dynamite St. Patrick’s Day Slam on March 16 when she defeated Britt Baker. She has successfully defended vs the likes of Toni Storm, Nyla Rose and Jamie Hayter.
Speaking to Bullet Cast at StocktonCon, Rosa was asked about her run as AEW Women’s Champion thus far.
“It’s been really challenging. Being a champion on a major platform is different than when I was NWA Women’s World Champion. There is a lot more at stake and a lot more you’re representing and a little bit of pressure. Every time you stand in front of the camera, you want to make sure you’re perfect. The thing is, it’s not all about perfection, it’s about making a difference, and I hope I’ve been making a difference in the women’s division,”

Thunder is set to defend her championship next vs Toni Storm once again, when it was set to be Kris Statlander before her knee injury that will keep her out of action for quite some time.
