A payment that coincides with Trump’s WWE appearances has now been uncovered by the WWE board.
The Wall Street Journal dropped another story regarding Vince McMahon on Wednesday where they revealed that the WWE board have uncovered a payment totalling over 5 million dollars to Donald Trump’s charities in 2007 and 2009.
Trump and McMahon had a storyline run in the lead up to WrestleMania 23 built as the Battle Of The Billionaires. McMahon would end up getting his head shaved bald at the event after Trump’s representative Bobby Lashley defeated McMahon’s Umaga. Vince McMahon paid out almost 20 million dollars in undocumented payments before he stepped down from World Wrestling Entertainment Inc. amid misconduct allegations, an internal board investigation found.
