AEW World Championship Match, Plus More Set For Next Weeks AEW Dynamite
The AEW World Title is on the line next week.
CM Punk kicked off AEW Dynamite and held nothing back, taking shots at Adam Page, Eddie Kingston and the interim AEW Champion, Jon Moxley. Punk and Moxley both hold claim to being AEW Champion, but there can only be one. Clearly, the both understand this and things boiled over quickly when they took shots at each other on the mic, before going to blows in a physical battle. They were broken up by security and they were separated, but only for a little while as later on in the night, they brawled again. Moxley didn’t want to wait until All Out, he wanted the title match right there and then. Obviously, that didn’t happen. But, it was later announced that CM Punk and Jon Moxley won’t have to wait any longer as they battle for the AEW Championship live on AEW Dynamite next week.
Also, Dax Harwood challenged Jay Lethal to a singles match in a backstage promo with Cash and Wardlow, it eas then made official for next week. Lastly, after conflict occurred between the Jericho Appreciation Society, Chris Jericho and Daniel Garcia will meet face to face in the ring. After a stacked Dynamite this week, we have another one next Wednesday.
