Tyson Fury Following Oleksandr Usyk’s Win vs. Anthony Joshua in Title Rematch: The Gypsy King’s Here to Stay Forever
It looks like Tyson Fury might not be looking at retirement just yet despite vacating his World title and declaring he was officially gone from the game.
The Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk defeated Anthony Joshua in a rematch for the WBA, WBO and IBF Heavyweight belts, he also won the vacant The Ring Magazine Heavyweight title that was held by the Gypsy King before they announced their retirement and stated they were no longer interested in fighting.
When asked about Fury, the Heavyweight champion Usyk said the following.
“I am sure Tyson Fury is not retired yet. I am sure Tyson Fury wants to fight me. If I’m not fighting Tyson Fury, I’m not fighting at all.”
In an Instagram story, Fury had this to say following the 12-round fight between Usyk vs. Joshua.
“I will annihilate both of them on the same night. … Get your f—ing checkbook out because The Gypsy King is here to stay forever,”
The Gypsy King let his feelings be known about the bout, a fight vs. Usyk or Joshua would be big money for the both of them and if either fight or both get made in the next year or so, the anticipation will surely be heavy.
