Joe Lando Comments On US Excursion, Shooting Star Elbow Drop
At 22 years old, Joe Lando is one of the up and coming talents in the world of wrestling.
In August, Lando came to America and wrestled bouts for DPW, PPW, and GCW, culminating at GCW Hope 2 Die against Nick Wayne. Speaking to Fightful’s Stephen Jensen, Lando reflected on his US tour.
“What a way to go out for me. This is the last match of my US tour against one of the best up and coming talents in the world. Not just the States. Shout out to Nick Wayne. That was genuinely one of my favorite matches of my career. Definitely my favorite of my tour. What a way to go out,” he said. “I had around five or six (matches), it was meant to be two more. I sprained my ankle last weekend so I had to pull out of JCW against Axton Ray and GCW against Mike Bailey. Hopefully I’ll get those two matches again.”
Joe Lando to Fightful
Lando leaves the US with more fans than he entered with, so it can be safe to assume that it was a positive move for the career of one of Britain’s hottest prospects.
