This week’s blockbuster edition of AEW Dynamite featured a title unification match and an incredible trios tournament main event between United Empire and Death Triangle.
According to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, AEW Dynamite on August 24, which was built around CM Punk vs. Jon Moxley in a Championship unification match, drew 1,049,000 viewers. This number is up from last week’s episode which drew 957,000 viewers. The show posted a 0.34 (444,000 viewers) in the 18 to 49 demographic, which is up from the 0.30 rating that the show posted last Wednesday.
Time will tell if AEW can keep up this momentum for next week’s AEW All Out go home show.
