It looks like AEW’s swearing may be toned down in future programming.
While many fans appreciate the use of swears in wrestling, it appears Warner Bros do not share that same feeling. Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer reports that “word has gotten to the promotion [AEW] from WBD [Warner Bros Discovery] that they’d like the language toned down.”
In April, WarnerMedia and Discovery completed a multi-billion dollar merger between the two companies, officially forming Warner Bros Discovery.
