It appears the reports of IYO SKY returning to Japan were at least somewhat true.
SKY was off WWE television after NXT Stand & Deliver as she was dealing with an ankle injury. SKY would eventually return at SummerSlam 22′.bSpeaking on WWE After The Bell, SKY was asked if she considered returning to Japan before eventually making her return.
“Yeah. I’ve been here four years. I came here by myself. I don’t have family here and that time is so tough. I tried to think, should I stay here more or not. I got injured and after surgery, that time was thinking about my life again,”

SKY is currently set to compete in the finals of the WWE Women’s Tag Title Tournament along with her partner Dakota Kai.
