SmackDown Results – 9/2/22
Next week’s September 2nd SmackDown was taped prior to tonight’s SmackDown taping and the results are below. Spoilers incoming, you’ve been warned.
SmackDown Results 9/2/22:
- Karrion Kross defeats Drew Gulak
- Ronda Rousey in-ring promo. She called out Adam Pearce to talk about her suspension. Her suspension is lifted because she has paid her fines and her arrest was unwarranted as it was not criminal. She’s reinstated immediately. Pearce said he would’ve fired her if it were up to him. Pearce calls Ronda “The single biggest bitch he’s ever met” and then Ronda locked him in a armbar.
- Hit Row defeats Maximum Male Models via Pinfall. After the match, Humberto and Garza attack Hit Row alongside Maximum Male Models. Street Profits made the save.
- Happy Corbin cuts a in-ring promo where he trash talks Detroit. Corbin then issues a open challenge and Shinsuke Nakamura accepts.
- Shinsuke Nakamura defeats Happy Corbin via Pinfall.
- Butch defeats Ludwig. After the match, Gunther and Sheamus go face to face but Ludwig breaks it up and leads Gunther away.
- Viking Rules Match: Viking Raiders win via Pinfall after putting Kofi through double stacked tables.
- The Usos and Sami Zayn host Roman Reigns Championship Celebration. It shows Roman pulling up to the arena but gets claymore kicked when he got out of the car. Drew Mclntyre heads to the ring and clears out Sami and Usos, then hits a suicide dive onto them all. Jimmy Uso gets out through the announcers table and Jey gets speared through the barricade. Drew emphasized WWE as “World WRESTLING Entertainment”
