Impact Wrestling announced via their Twitter account that – for the first time in almost 2 years – the BARBED WIRE MASSACRE is coming back!!
Sami Callihan, Steve Maclin, and Moose battle in a Triple Threat match in what has been the very first match announced for Victory Road so far. Maclin and Moose have formed an alliance, or so it seemed until last week when all 3 competed in a 6 man elimination match for crown the #1 contender for Josh Alexander’s World Title and their shot at Bound for Glory in the Main event.
Maclin pinned Moose and eliminated him, causing a rift between both men. They were seen arguing backstage on the show this week, when they were both attacked by Sami Callihan. Both men aligned once again and left Sami wrapped in barbed wire and laying in a pool of his own blood. Sami then came out – still wrapped in Barbed Wire – and challenged Maclin and Moose to the match. It was made official later in the show.
