Raquel Rodriguez is fine with the choices Dakota Kai has made and will team with Aliyah to win the tag titles instead.
Formerly teaming in NXT as a unit, winning the NXT Women’s Tag titles at one point and while Kai was released in April, Raquel was given a prime spot on SmackDown, being one of the top names on the blue brands women’s roster.
Kai returned at SummerSlam and has been part of the women’s tag title tournament along with IYO SKY and will battle Rodriguez and Aliyah in the final of the tournament. Rodriguez spoke on the SmackDown Lowdown about her former tag partner.
“I know Dakota very well. We were the first NXT Tag Team Champions and we were the first ever two-time NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions. But that doesn’t change anything. She’s made her choices and I’ve made mine, and I am very excited to be making these finals — my Raw debut with my girl Aliyah by my side,”

Rodriguez and Aliyah will face KAI and SKY in the finals of the women’s tag title tournament this Monday on RAW.
