Shooter is making his case to join the AEW faction.
Previously aligned with Jon Moxley during Moxley’s run in New Japan Pro Wrestling, Shota would show up during the build to AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, featuring in a six man tag at the show alongside Eddie Kingston against the JAS. Shota would also end up receiving a fireball to the face courtesy of Jericho on the show.
Shota took to Twitter on Sunday and posted an image from his holiday in Blackpool, teasing a possible alliance with the faction in the future.
Shota recently challenged PAC for the AEW All Atlantic Championship in Revpro where he would fall to the Death Triangle member.
