Hasim Rahman Jr. Wants to Compete in PFL, Says Boxing is Better than MMA
In preparation of his upcoming boxing bout, Hasim Rahman Jr. has been vocal about combat sports.
10 minutes prior to his next tweet, Rahman Jr. stated that he believes boxing is better than MMA, the comment section shows how fans feel towards his comments and would lead to Rahman Jr. making a tweet regarding MMA promotion, the Professional Fighters League.
Rahman Jr. has never competed in an amateur or professional MMA fight, his record in boxing is 12-1, his upcoming fight is against UFC, PRIDE and Strikeforce vet Vitor Belfort who finished Evander Holyfield in under two minutes of the 1st round.
Rahman Jr’s comments about boxing being better than MMA is always going to spark up a heated debate, if he were to jump ship and test out MMA, it would open his eyes on seeing how difficult it is. However with zero word on him and the PFL having any conversations, it’s unknown if the two would spark up a conversation to have Rahman Jr. compete in the octagon in the near-future.
