Roman Reigns has officially been Universal Champion for over two years.
On this day (August 30) two years ago, Roman Reigns won the WWE Universal Championship in a three-way bout against Braun Strowman and “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt at WWE Payback 2020.
Reigns is set to have a celebration to mark the occasion as he crosses two years as Universal Champion. He’s also collected more gold along the way, unifying the Universal Champion and the WWE Championship at WWE WrestleMania 38 to become the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion by defeating Lesnar.
