The Intercontinental Champion is eying a match with The Beast.
Gunther and Brock Lesnar is a dream match that many fans hope to see at some point or another. However, with Brock not getting any younger, the timeframe for the match to happen continues to lower.
In an interview with Gorilla Position ahead of WWE Clash at the Castle, Gunther was asked about a potential match with Brock Lesnar at a stadium show in Vienna, the capital of his homeland, Austria. He initially responded by noting that he hopes to see WWE hold a major show in Europe every year.
“I hope so. I hope anyway, this is successful now, and it becomes a little of a tradition. In Europe overall, they come back once a year or something like that with an event like that,”
“It would be great. I think he’s a fantastic wrestler and I hope to get in the ring with him.”

Gunther is set to face Sheamus at WWE Clash At The Castle for the Intercontinental Championship.
