Liv Morgan Says The Feeling Of Being Champion Is Less Surreal As She Begins To Build Her Confidence
Liv Morgan is building her confidence as SmackDown Women’s Champion.
After pinning Shayna Baszler at WWE Clash At The Castle, Morgan has now successfully defended her championship twice after winning it at Money In The Bank earlier this year.
During an interview after Clash at the Castle, Morgan told BT Sport’s Ariel Helwani that she believes she has silenced any doubters that may have continued to question her run as Women’s Champion.
“Yeah, I feel like if anyone had any doubts before, then they definitely don’t have them now,” Morgan said. “[The feeling of being champion] has definitely settled. It’s definitely sinking in. It doesn’t feel like, ‘pinch me, pinch me, pinch me,’ anymore. This is mine.”
“I have no idea what’s to come,” she said. “All I know is, whoever thinks they’re willing to fight harder for this than me, I’m ready.”
