Over the last week or so, PWInsider’s Mike Johnson has been dropping lots of IMPACT Wrestling news and notes. Here’s some of it:
On 9/6, it was reported that Frankie Kazarian from AEW will be working upcoming IMPACT events and PPVs.
Frankie was last seen on IMPACT at Slammiversary where he was part of “Team Impact” in a multi person match against another team.
On that same date, it was also noted that some former ROH roster members will be making appearances for IMPACT later this fall.
On 9/8, Mike also reported that there would be new names debuting at or right after the Victory Road LlVE event at the end of the month.
IMPACT has the LIVE Victory Road event slated for Friday, September 23, and then a Fallout from Victory Road TV taping the next day, Saturday, September 24.
Reiterated on 9/9, Impact has released new MicroBrawlers, including, most interesting a Team Canada era Bobby Roode as well as Trey Miguel, Chris Bey and Tasha Steelz. **This is interesting because Robert Roode is currently employed/under contract by WWE.**
Reported today, there will be vignettes starting this week to build a new international star coming into the company, PWInsider.com is told.
Mike Bailey’s X-Division Championship challenger at Victory Road will be someone from outside the company. We are told that is not the X-Division announcement that is forthcoming. **The referenced announcement was mentioned this past week on the IMPACT episode, we should find out the announcement this week.**

Victory Road plans:
The previously-mentioned Barbed Wire Massacre match among Sami Callihan, Moose, and Maclin is planned to Main Event the LIVE event.
There are plans for a “big” multi-competitor X Division bout to help set up a Bound for Glory match
Tasha Steelz vs Killer Kelly is planned for the event
Josh Alexander is planned for the show but will not be defending his IMPACT World Title in order to make his defense against Eddie Edwards at Bound For Glory on October 7th more meaningful.
The opponent being “picked” for Jordynne Grace by Masha Slamovich will be someone from outside the company.
