Batista’s been walking through a very long pit of danger.
Batista’s theme music is some of the most iconic in WWE’s history. Even stars like Xavier Woods have shared in the past how pumped up the song gets them. One of the key lyrics of the song suggests Batista has “walked for miles inside this pit of danger”.
Now, Reddit user U/BringBackRodneyMack1 has done the calculations and has deduced that Batista has in fact walked 2,676 miles inside a pit of danger.
Everytime that Batista came to the ring, we were always told that he “walked for miles inside this pit of danger”. But we were never told exactly how many miles he walked and that bothers me. While we probably can’t get an exact answer, I think finding a hard estimate is possible.
Let’s assume that “miles” is more then a couple but also less than 10. Because let’s face it walking 10 miles inside a pit before a match is just impossible. We’ll say somewhere between 3-9 miles. If we meet in the middle we get 6 miles. Given how Batistas earlier form of Leviathan looked like a demon from hell, 6 seems appropriate.
According to the internet Batista had 446 matches. Which means he walked 6 miles inside a pit of danger 446 times. After some basic math we can establish that Batista walked 2,676 miles inside his pit of danger. The man damn near walked the distance of a country inside a pit of danger. Amazing
