We continue to get closer to when Jeff Hardy is expected to return from rehab for his substance abuse issues.
During a conversation with Wardlow on the Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast, Wardlow once again expressed his desire to team with The Hardy Boyz in trios action, giving Matt Hardy the chance to talk about his brother’s future, providing an update on when to expect Jeff back on AEW TV.
“[Teaming with Wardlow] sounds great. I’m pretty excited. We’re getting close to the point where we meet the new Jeff and we figure out his future and what he ends up doing,” said Matt. “I’m pretty excited because I feel like his mentality is like — he knows he has to make some changes and do what’s right. I feel like he’s at a point where he will this time around. I’m excited to have him back and I think this would be amazing. It’d be so much fun.”

There is no official return date set for the younger Hardy brother. Matt is scheduled to go one on one with Darby Allin on this week’s AEW Rampage.
