Mike Perry calls out Nate Diaz to a future bare-knuckle fight
“Platinum” is anticipating a future bare-knuckle fight against the Stockton-born legend.
With Nate Diaz now a free agent after submitting Tony Ferguson this past Saturday at UFC 279, Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship president David Feldman already has his eyes on Diaz vs. Perry, calling it a “fan’s dream fight.”
Diaz (20-14 MMA, 15-12 UFC) mentioned the possibility of a UFC return, but not until he experiments with other ventures. Could BKFC be one of them? Perry seems game to fight him.
Perry is 2-0 since joining the BKFC roster and has found success in his post-UFC career. He defeated Season 16 and Season 25 “Ultimate Fighter” alum Julian Lane, followed by a majority decision win over former Bellator title challenger Michael Page in August in London.
Diaz didn’t specify what he wanted next after fighting out his UFC contract, but asked for ringside seats for Jake Paul and Anderson Silva’s boxing match on Oct. 29.
Paul repeatedly has expressed interest in boxing Diaz and could get his wish after fighting Silva.
