Spoiler: 9/18 MLW Super Series Taping Sees Title Change
MLW has a new Middleweight Champion.
MLW made its Atlanta with the Super Series television tapings on September 18th, which were held at the Space Event Center at 6100 Live Oak Pkwy in Norcross, Georgia. Per PWInsider, Shun Skywalker defeated Myron Reed to become the new MLW World Middleweight Champion at the taping. This marks Skywalker’s first championship in MLW. Shun had previously held the Open The Dream Gate Championship. MLW and Dragon Gate Pro Wrestling started their partnership in 2021, and this marks a big moment for the partnership since its start. Other Dragon Gate starts such as La Estrella and SB KENTo have also made their mark on MLW.
Congrats to Shun Skywalker on the title victory.
