The future of some top names in IMPACT Wrestling has been revealed.
FightfulSelect.com has updates on several IMPACT Wrestling contracts coming up soon, including some champions.
As mentioned earlier this year, Mia Yim signed with the company into October, but she’s not the only one. Maria Kanellis confirmed to Grapsody that she’s currently signed with IMPACT Wrestling through Bound For Glory. She also noted that she’d had contact over the past year with WWE, AEW and WOW Women of Wrestling. We’re not sure of the specific context of those conversation.
Maria isn’t the only deal coming up. She also noted to Grapsody that Matt Taven and Mike Bennett’s current deals are up soon, but didn’t specify a date that the deals would be up. Taven and Bennett are the current IMPACT tag team champions, and are set to defend against Aussie Open and the Motor City Machine Guns. Ironically enough, in that match, only Sabin is under contract to IMPACT through this year. The last tag team champions Good Brothers also dropped the titles when their deals were up.
Some fans want to see all the contracts re-signed, especially the current IMPACT Wrestling Tag Team Champions.
