Ricochet Discusses The Newest Change To The NXT Brand
Ricochet believes the newest NXT change as a good thing.
NXT 2.0 was not around for as long as you may have expected it to be. In September 2021, NXT black and gold made a change to NXT 2.0, which brought out more vibrant colors and on-screen changes to a more character driven product. Now, just one year later on the September 13th edition of NXT 2.0, it was revealed that it’ll go back to just “NXT” as they revealed a new white and gold logo, signifying another change with the brand. In a new interview with NBC Sports Boston, Ricochet, who’s competed in both NXT and NXT 2.0, discussed the turmoil the brand has experienced over the past year.
I think, again in this business, it’s forever. It doesn’t stop. They’re just trying something new, they’re trying something different and I think it was just so sudden and so quick that people didn’t get a chance to adjust. So now I think changing again, not back to what it was but something different and something that I feel like will be better, because now I think they have the grasp on maybe bringing some Raw and SmackDown people in or some NXT people to Raw and SmackDown. It really might start being something bigger, who knows? I think it’s so cool to be thinking about the future and being excited to see what will come from it.
