Could we see Adam Cole back in AEW soon?
Adam Cole has been on the shelf since AEW Double or Nothing. He had a minimal TV appearance ahead of All Out but he didn’t compete in the ring. After getting a labrum injury, his teammate Kyle O’Reilly was shelved with a neck injury that required surgery. His other partner, Bobby Fish, has now been let go by the company. So, when Adam Cole returns, things will be different. Cole took to Twitter to let everyone know that when he returns, he’s going to be “running shit,” seriously. With his trios group now incomplete, it seems maybe Adam Cole will have his eyes set on singles gold. Currently, he could go after slue of ROH champions, Wardlow, the TNT Champion, or the AEW World Title, which currently is vacant, but we will crown a new champion this Wednesday at AEW Grand Slam. Jon Moxley or Bryan Danielson could be a target for Adam Cole, or possibly MJF, who is the current number one contender after winning the casino ladder match chip at All Out, may have a battle with Adam Cole down the line.
Adam challenged Adam Page for the AEW Championship in the past but was unsuccessful. It seems he’s more determined than ever, now.
