The Bloodline loses some gold.
Last week, Solo Sikoa defeated Carmelo Hayes for the North America Title. Now, to kick off this weeks NXT, Shawn Michaels joined Solo Sikoa and Carmelo Hayes where he announced that since Sikoa wasn’t a proper opponent last week and he’s now moved up to the main roster, he must vacate the title. Solo handed over the championship as Hayes imagined Shawn would pass it to him, but he didn’t. Shaw Michaels announced the title will stay vacated until NXT Halloween Havoc where five competitors will battle for the gold in a ladder match to determine a new champion. Over the next six weeks, we will see qualifying matches to see who advances into the ladder match.
