Ahead of tonight’s AEW Grand Slam, Claudio Castagnoli took the opportunity to play some tennis. The Arthur Ashe stadium in which AEW Grand Slam is being held, is largely known for holding Tennis matches, such as the US Open which just ended on September 12th, won by Carlos Alcaraz. Claudio has long touted his love for the game of Tennis and now, he got to step on the courts ahead of tonight’s AEW event. But, there’s a catch, either he’s playing with a giant ball and racket, or we have a shrinking problem in AEW! You can check out the hilarious photo of Claudio from his tweet down below.
Claudio will defend his ROH World Championship tonight against Chris Jericho. This will be the first time they’ve competed against each other in singles action and it’ll go down tonight at 8/7c on TBS at AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam.
