Five Fighters Earn UFC Contracts On Dana Whites Contender Series
Every winner earns a contract.
The second to last episode of ESPN+’s Dana Whites Contender Series saw every winner tonight get a contract. It started off with Jafel Filho picking up a TKO victory in the third round. Sadly, he had to go to the hospital after the fight for a leg injury, but I’m sure he celebrated from the hospital bed because he’s now in the UFC. Nurullo Aliev was the next fighter to earn a contract and becomes the first Tajik fighter to earn a contract after he mauled his opponent to get a first round TKO victory with some nasty ground and pound. He claimed afterwards that he will be a future UFC lightweight champion. Austen Lane was the next fighter to earn a contract after finishing his opponent in round one. Austen was previously on the show but couldn’t get the win. Now, he had another shot and won as well as earned a UFC contract. The 17 year old Raul Rosas Jr impressed everyone with his unanimous decision victory after dominating the entire fight and has the world talking. Many fans and fighters have been talking about Raul all night long and now he’s the youngest fighter in the UFC. Brunno Ferreira was the final fighter of the night to earn a contract and rightfully so after a round one knockout victory. He even Hulk smashed after his win! Nine fights, nine finishes and he is now in the UFC. An incredible night of fights for Dana White’s Contender Series and it’ll be exciting to see these talent flourish.
Congratulations to every winner tonight!
