Cardi B can relate with Trina.
On AEW Dynamite, Diamanté approached Jade Cargill backstage with Trina by her side. Trina is a Hip-Hop artist with popular songs such as “Da Baddest Bitch”, which is why Diamanté called her the OG Baddie. Diamanté will challenge Jade Cargill for the TBS Championship this Friday on AEW Rampage. But, Trina isn’t the only female rapper in the AEW mix. During the promo, Jade Cargill said “I’ll see you Friday, on Rampage” to which Trina responded “You see me now.” A short time later, famous female Hip-Hop artist Cardi B tweeted out a clip of the promo with the caption “MY MOOD ALWAYS!” You can see her reaction below.
Hip-Hop culture has quickly become a big part of AEW with many rappers making cameos on shows past, such as Lil Uzi Vert, Westside Gunn, Snoop Dogg and even on this week’s AEW Dynamite, not only was Trina on screen, but Fabulous accompanied Swerve In Our Glory to the ring, while DJ Whoo Kid came out alongside The Acclaimed. Plus, this Friday on Rampage will be the in-ring debut of Rapper Action Bronson as he teams with HOOK to take on 2Point0. Everyone’s involved, but the question is, when will Cardi B make an on screen cameo?
