MJF’s latest AEW deal will see him earning over a million dollars a year.
MJF seems to have got his wish of earning more money in AEW. Following his sabbatical from AEW, it appears Tony Khan has given him what he wanted.
Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter now reports that MJF has a new deal with the company, earning over a million dollars a year on the contract.
MJF did an interview with Ariel Helwani to promote the Arthur Ashe Stadium show. He said that he got a huge raise in pay to return (based on things we heard it’s was more than $1 million per year) and claimed he did not have to sign an extension and his contract expires on January 1, 2024.

It appears that the bidding war of 2024 will be expensive for whatever company manages to secure the signature of Maxwell Jacob Friedman.
