Baron Black Praises Lil Scrappy For Battle Slam Performance
Battle Slam combines the world of wrestling and hip-hop with events featuring wrestling matches, hip-hop performances, and hip-hop performers competing in wrestling matches. One name who comes from this angle is Lil’ Scrappy.
Speaking to Stephen Jensen of The Spotlight immediately following Battle Slam The Aftermath, Black commented on Scrappy’s performances at Battle Slam.
“You saw him tonight [Sunday]. He beat Shoot Taylor to advance to the finals. He got a little too bit crunk in the finals and got himself disqualified. One thing is for sure, he lives for this industry, lives for this sport, lives for this business. You saw when he wrestled me, he got the upset win, I will get that back, trust me. He got a win over Shoot Taylor. He still has not been pinned, that’s crazy. You see the work ethic he’s put in, you see his performance in the ring. I have nothing but respect for that man because he doesn’t have to take it seriously, he’s already a made superstar on television and a rap legend. He came in here, gritted his teeth, and started like a rookie. He took it seriously and you can see the raw product of him in the ring,”
