Eddie Kingston Comments On Malakai Black’s Future: “As A Human Being I Know Him And He’s Gonna Be OK.”
Eddie Kingston believes Malakai Black is going to be just fine.
The leader of The House Of Black is currently taking a sabbatical away from the ring for a while in order to get some things in his personal life in order. Black cited a tragedy in his life in a social media note as one of the catalysts to his sabbatical being necessary.
One man who knows Malakai Black very well is Eddie Kingston and when asked by Doc Mueller of Bleacher Report what he sees in Black’s future, Kingston gave a simple reply, stating that Black will be ok.
“Well, first of all, I do see him doing big things. I’ve known Malakai for about 15 years, maybe more. I don’t know. Yeah, I first met him when I was doing tours out in Germany. He’s going to be a star when he’s ready and when he wants to. And I wish him nothing but the best and I wish him all the happiness in the world, him and his wife [Zelina Vega of WWE], because I know them as people.
“I don’t know them as just performers or whatever, or pro wrestlers, but as a human being I know him and he’s gonna be OK. And I know that and he has a good support system around him.”
Eddie Kingston To Bleacher Report
Time will tell if or when we will see Malakai Black back in AEW but for now Kingston remains in a feud with Sammy Guevara that was spawned after personal issues between the two. Elsewhere in the interview, Kingston discussed how suicide has personally affected his life.
