Saraya made a small jab at her former boss.
During AEW Dynamite, Saraya cut a promo where she promised to bring change to the AEW Women’s division and brought out a group of babyfaces headed by Toni Storm. As Saraya began to put over the women in the ring, Britt Baker, Rebel, Penelope Ford and Jamie Hayter would interrupt with Britt cutting a promo on Saraya, taking a shot at Saraya’s neck injury.
Shortly after, Saraya would mention that she spoke to Tony Khan and noted that “it’s so nice to finally have a boss who listens to” her. Of course prior to her exit from WWE in early July, Vince McMahon was Saraya’s boss throughout her run in WWE. Saraya would then announce that the interim world title match between Serena Deeb and Toni Storm would now be a lumberjack match.
