Adam Borics on Bellator 286 headliner vs. Patricio Pitbull: ‘This is going to be Fight of the Night, we’re going to steal the show’
Adam Borics has an opportunity to make history at Bellator 286.
Borics challenges Patricio Pitbull, the Bellator lightweight champion this Saturday in a fight that he is confident he can walk out after as the best fighter in the world.
“I have to just be myself. If I am myself, I’m the best in the world. I definitely respect him. He’s a legend, so I really respect him. [I’ve been preparing for this fight for] five years; that’s a long time.”
Borics recalls his win over Pat Curran, the former two-time Bellator featherweight champion and says that for those who doubt him, he has already beat a former champion and knows how to exceed expectations everyone has for him this Saturday night.
“I think my fight IQ is very big, so I will definitely use that. I already show it; I already know how to beat a champion, because I already beat a former champion. I will use that.”
Borics wants to go from “The Kid” to the champion this Saturday and has predicted that this fight will not only steal the show, it will be fight of the night when all is said and done.
“This is going to be the Fight of the Night, so everybody should watch this fight. We’re going to steal the show. You will see on Saturday night.”
