WWE Women’s Talent Believes One Day Women Will Main Event A Saudi Arabia Premium Live Event
The former NXT Women’s Champion believes women will one day main event a show in Saudi Arabia.
In Saudi Arabia, the laws regarding women’s rights are extremely sexist. It is considered a crime for women to dress as WWE women’s stars usually do, forcing the women into full body suits in order to compete in the country. Despite these laws, WWE continue to return to the kingdom of Saudi Arabia and this has long caused issues regarding fan opinion of WWE.
In a new interview with NBC Sports Boston, Raquel Rodriguez revealed that she thinks that women will main event in the country soon.
“Yes, yes I do. I was very excited about the last trip they took to Saudi Arabia because they took so many women with them and we had so much of our women’s roster representing over there. It was so great. So yeah, I think women are gonna main event one of these Crown Jewel events for sure.”

It’s an odd claim for Rodriguez to make, as it took almost four decades to get a women’s main event on a western WrestleMania show. Time will tell if women will main event one of WWE’s future shows in Saudi Arabia.
