It looks like fans weren’t the only ones upset by Andrade being sent home but Sammy Guevara not.
During the main event of AEW Dynamite, Sammy Guevara and Chris Jericho defeated Daniel Garcia and Bryan Danielson in less than honourable fashion. Fans were surprised to see Guevara even on the show after his altercation with Andrade El Idolo earlier in the night.
Steve Muehlhausen of DAZN has now tweeted out about the incident, noting that several AEW talent were disappointed that Guevara was not sent home.
As mentioned previously, Andrade was sent home after the incident and his match on this week’s Rampage has been nixed.
