The first two names have advanced to the next round of the NJPW World TV Title tournament.
The NJPW World TV Title tournament got underway on October 14 at NJPW Battle Autumn. In the co-main event, David Finlay defeated Yoshinobu Kanemaru to advance. In the main event, Zack Sabre Jr. tapped out Alex Zayne. The two winners will meet in the second round of the tournament on October 27th.
The first-ever NJPW World TV Champion will be crowned at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 17.
