Gunther has a new challenger.
Tonight on SmackDown, there was a fatal-four-way to determine a new number one contender to Gunther’s intercontinental championship. The match featured Ricochet, Solo Sikoa, Sheamus and was originally supposed to feature Karrion Kross, but he was replaced by Rey Mysterio after Kross was injured and attacked by Drew Mclntyre earlier on in the night. Rey Mysterio is officially apart of the SmackDown brand as negotiated by Triple H to get Rey away from Judgement Day.
The match was as fun as it seemed on paper and after a great battle, Rey Mysterio picked up the victory and will now get a future shot at the Intercontinental Title.
