It looks like Cody Rhodes could be ready to return ahead of schedule.
In June earlier this year, Rhodes would tear his pectoral muscle completely off the bone prior to Hell In A Cell. He would go on to work the Hell In A Cell match with Rollins and then undergo surgery for the injury later that week.
Dave Meltzer now reports in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Cody’s rehab is ahead of schedule.
Cody Rhodes appears to be a little ahead of schedule in healing, but there’s no firm date for a return this early. Originally the idea of Royal Rumble looked good. Perhaps Day 1 since it’s in Atlanta.

Many fans have speculated that Rhodes will win the 2023 Royal Rumble match upon his return, with the same fans hoping Rhodes topples Roman Reigns.
