Kevin Nash Says He Was Envious Of DX Reunion, Would Do Anything Where Spotlight Is On Scott Hall
Whether it be the nWo or The Beatles, a true reunion, sadly, isn’t possible.
On the October 10 episode of WWE Raw, DX reunited to celebrate the faction’s 25th anniversary. Speaking on the most recent episode of his Kliq This podcast (via AdFreeShows), Kevin Nash said that he was envious of them because it served as a reminder of his friend and fellow nWo member Scott Hall’s passing.
“I was envious last night that the DX guys could go out there and have a reunion and everybody was there. It’s kind of why I’m wearing the nWo tonight, because, you know, once they killed John Lennon, that kind of f**king knocked the dick in the dirt of the people that thought The Beatles would get back together,” he said.
Nash would continue on to reveal that WWE wanted to do something for Hall and the nWo at WrestleMania, but it was too soon for him, saying he didn’t want to break down on TV.
“I would do anything that the spotlight was on Scott. They wanted to do something at WrestleMania and for me it was just too soon. Depending on what they would want to do moving forward, I don’t want to break down on TV. I just had to go to my happy place just to get through this conversation,” Nash said.
Elsewhere during the episode, Hall commented on the backstage sentiment toward Triple H taking over creative duties in WWE following Vince McMahon’s resignation. Click here to read more.
