Becky Lynch Injury Update, WWE Hope For Her To Return By End Of 2022
Becky Lynch is still on the shelf but is expected back by the end of the year.
Back at SummerSlam 2022, Becky Lynch would suffer a separated shoulder injury but has avoided surgery as of now. She was spotted at a recent NFL game with Seth Rollins, not sporting a sling anymore.
Fightful Select have now reported that Becky is not expected back in the promotion until late 2023.
Becky Lynch has been sidelined the last couple of months, but some expected her to return in September.Early last month, a rumor emerged that Becky Lynch was ahead of schedule for her return due to a shoulder injury and would be back by the end of September. When Fightful inquired about that, nobody in WWE confirmed that, and even beyond that, we were told that the company had yet to follow up with Becky Lynch about a possible return at that point, and was never slated for a September return.Upon sustaining her injury at WWE Summerslam, WWE’s hope was that Becky Lynch would be able to avoid surgery and would return in a few months with rehab. Becky Lynch was at the site of Raw this past Monday, but as of early September, we were told that her doctors and physical therapists had thought it would be at least a couple of months before she could get near a ring. There’s no definitive timetable on her return. Those that we spoke to within WWE creative said they were hopeful to have Becky Lynch back by the end of the year, but that wasn’t guaranteed, and was more being optimistic in the hope that she wouldn’t have surgery.
