Tony Khan Says He’ll Have Great News Soon About Weekly ROH Shows
Rejoice, Ring of Honor fans, more content is coming soon!
Since purchasing ROH back in March, Tony Khan has slowly integrated titles and performers into AEW programming. Furthermore, two ROH-branded events have been presented, and now another could potentially be on the way.
Speaking with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, Khan, the AEW President, shared that they are hoping to have one more PPV this year with a weekly show launching in 2023.
“We’ll have great news soon about Ring of Honor weekly shows,” Khan said. “The success of Death Before Dishonor on pay-per-view has ensured there will be more Ring of Honor pay-per-views. Our goal is to have one more great pay-per-view for Ring of Honor in 2022 and then follow that up with a weekly show in 2023.”
The ROH Championship will be on the line this evening during a special Tuesday Night edition of Dynamite when Chris Jericho faces Dalton Castle.
