Dan Soder Says He Wrote A Cartoon With Stone Cold Steve Austin, Peacock Refusing To Air It
Peacock and WWE are sitting on a Stone Cold Steve Austin-endorsed cartoon.
Appearing on Barstool’s KFC Radio, comedian Dan Soder revealed that during the pandemic he wrote a cartoon with Dan St. Germain and Stone Cold Steve Austin. He says that it is dark and weird and that Steve Austin is completely on board with it.
However, after selling it to Peacock, the show has spent the past 17 months on the shelf. Calls to WWE and Peacock to convince them to air the cartoon have been unsuccessful. He also states that WWE wants to be creatively involved in the show but he and St. Germain want to maintain their status as lead writers.
Stone Cold Steve Austin has yet to issue a public statement on the matter.
