SmackDown Results – 10/21/22 – Women’s Tag Title Match, Logan Paul Appearance And More
Tonight’s Friday Night SmackDown is set to be a stacked affair with a title match, the return of Logan Paul and more.
The results will be updated below as the show progresses.
Sheamus vs Solo Sikoa kicks the show off. Sheamus out first with Brawling Brutes to a loud pop. Bray Wyatt vignette interrupts the rundown from Wade Barrett and Michael Cole. Solo Sikoa out next with Sami Zayn and The Usos. Pair trade significant strikes for the opening exchanges. Solo hits a nasty hip attack into the steel steps outside the ring. Chaos occurs at ringside, with The Usos dumping the announce table on the Brutes. Sheamus jumps to the outside, taking out The Usos. He gets back into the ring and eats the Spinning Solo.
Solo Sikoa defeats Sheamus.
After the match The Bloodline crush Sheamus’ injured arm in a chair.
Imperium and Rey Mysterio segment to set up a match later on tonight.
Bray Wyatt cuts an emotional promo where he says that he will go where the circle takes him.
The Bloodline backstage promo. Solo, Usos and Sami. Jey wants to take out Logan tonight, Sami says no due to Roman’s wishes. Jey says he’s a hot head and might do it anyway.
Liv Morgan vs Sonya Deville up next. Liv Morgan out in Harley Quinn inspired gear. Liv is working the match in the frame of pain making her laugh. A double count out happens after Liv snaps and throws Sonya around the ringside area. Liv superplexes Sonya onto a pile of steel chairs.

Omos and Braun face off. Match made for Crown Jewel. Omos comes to the ring and shoves Braun from the ring after towering over him.
Drew McIntyre backstage interview. Drew announces he will face Karrion Kross at Crown Jewel in a steel cage match.
Logan Paul arrives.
Damage CTRL defeat Shotzi and Raquel Rodriguez to retain the WWE Women’s Tag Titles.
Rousey interview segment. She works it heel and says she will host an open challenge next week on SmackDown.
Another Wyatt vignette, this time featuring a first look at Uncle Howdy. There is also a QR code.
Santos Escobar and Legado Del Fantasma backstage promo. Zelina Vega features.
Rey Mysterio defeats Ludwig Kaiser
Logan Paul in ring promo. Jey Uso attacks and lays out Logan with a superkick. Sami comes out and tries to reason with Jey. Logan Paul ends up KOing Jey Uso.
