We’re down a fight heading into tomorrows event.
During the official weigh-ins for UFC 280, it was announced that Zubaira Tukhugov vs. Lucas Almeida has been cancelled. The reason given was medial issues for Zubaira due to “weight management issues.” The bout was originally set for the UFC 280 prelims, but it is no longer going down making the event now a 12 fight card. Zubaira is a training partner of Islam Makhachev, who is headlining the event for the Lightweight title against Charles Oliveira. UFC 280 takes place at Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi with the prelims beginning at 10AM EST and the main card kicking off at 2PM EST. Aljamain Sterling defeats his Bantamweight title against TJ Dillashaw in the co-main event that features a slew of big fights that’ll surely make this one of the biggest shows of the year.
