Notes from 10/21 taping —
Impact Wrestling taped two week’s worth of Impact Wrestling on AXS TV episodes last night at Samstown Live in Las Vegas and will tape another two weeks tonight. That should bring them through all the TV up to the 11/18 Overdrive PPV in Louisville, Kentucky.
We are told that last night’s taping was just shy of a sellout and had a really boisterous crowd live.
NJPW’s Aussie Open worked last night’s taping.
There’s been talk of adding new talents to Violence by Design.
Earlier today, we ran spoiler results from Impact Wrestling’s TV taping last night noting that Alan Angels has joined Violence by Design.
We are also hearing that Big Kon, aka the former Konor from The Ascension during his time in WWE, has also been added to the group.
Notes from 10/22 taping
Several of the X-Division Championship Tournament matches will air on BTI – Before the Impact. We are told this is being done to give the matches time and to give additional incentive to the audience to check out BTI online.
Black Taurus vs. Laredo Kid will air on this Thursday’s BTI.
Impact Wrestling sold out last night’s TV Taping in Las Vegas.
There will be an IPWF comedy throwback event presented by Impact as part of Wrestlecade in Winston-Salem, NC on 11/25.
The 2023 No Surrender PPV will be 2/24/23 at Samstown Live in Las Vegas. The promotion will also tape TV in 2/25 and 2/26 in Vegas as well.
Joe Hendry defeated Brian Myers to become the new IMPACT Wrestling Digital Media champion.
As covered by Bodyslam.net on Saturday, PCO signed a new 1 year contract to remain with the company.
