While nothing was denied, nothing was confirmed either.
Earlier this week, Dave Meltzer expected to see some kind of working relationship between WWE and GCW on this week’s RAW.
Many were sceptical about this partnership, and now Fightful Select have provided a fresh update on the matter.
For those that have asked, we did ask GCW about rumors of a WWE partnership. We were given a statement that indicated they’d announce their streaming plans November 1. WWE wouldn’t deny it but a rep said they’re in favor of people telling other people to watch WWE Raw. All signs point to this being a (apparently very effective) rib. Joey Janela simply said he couldn’t say anything when we asked, but we’ve been giveN no indications that the two sides are actually working together.

Time will tell if we will see the two companies work together in the future but for now, there is no signs that this is anything more than a prank pulled by GCW and Joey Janela
