AEW Dynamite is back on its regularly scheduled time-slot of 8PM est, Wednesday night on TBS. And that happens to be tonight! The show is action packed and headlined by a World Championship match between Jon a Moxley and Penta El Zero Miedo. Plus, Swerve In Our Glory takes on FTR in a number one contenders match, Blackpool Combat Club and Jericho Appreciation Society look to settle the score, a returning Riho battles Jamie Hayter and so much more. But, what’re three things to look out for heading into AEW Dynamite? Well, let’s see!
Jon Moxley Will Bleed!:
Yes, it’s become much of a meme these days that everyone suspects that Jon Moxley will bleed in every match he’s in, no matter what. Well, tonight will most likely be no different. I know, I know, “that’s so obvious isn’t it?” Well, yes! Jon Moxley is going one on one with Penta El Zero Miedo tonight. This is Penta’s first singles match since his mask vs. mask match he had at AAA’s TripleMania just over a week ago and the match was about as bloody as you’ll see in a hardcore style match. Maybe you’ve seen the match or even some photos of a bloody Penta online, but it was brutal. So, when you put Penta, fresh off that match into a match with a maniac like Jon Moxley and it’s for the World Title, we can only expect that blood will be spilled. Plus, it may not only be from Jon, Penta may get bloodied up once more! So, if you’re looking to see some blood tonight, I’d guess you’d want to tune into the main event of Dynamite!
The Next Women’s Title Challenger:
Recently, Toni Storm defeated Shida to retain her interim AEW Women’s Championship. With Shida now in the back of the line, it’s only common to ask “who’s next?” Well, after Riho’s big return last week and taking out Jamie Hayter with a big cross-body to the floor, these two are set to go one-on-one tonight and it’s only right to think that the winner of this match will be slotted into that #1 contender spot. Riho, a former and the first AEW Women’s Champion is back after a collarbone injury that but her on the shelf for months and months. But, while she was gone, Jamie Hayter has increasingly been getting the fans on her side. Still a heel, and still at the helm of Britt Baker, the fans are clamoring for Jamie to turn on Britt, after she seemingly cost Jamie the AEW Women’s Title at the Pay-Per-View. But, Jamie has shown her loyalty and will not turn… yet. So, the fans keep chanting her name, she continuously gets the biggest pop of the night and now with her path almost clear to the women’s title, it’s no secret that fans want Hayter to be the next champion. But, with Riho in her way, is that possible? One thing is for certain, Toni Storm better watch tonights women’s match very closely because I predict the winner of this match will be Toni’s next challenger. May the best woman win!
The Most Elite Return:
Brawl Out has been a topic of conversation since the moment it happened and everyone involved was suspended or fired. Well, as things start to wind down, it seems we’re closer to seeing The Elite return to the ring and maybe that’s tonight. Today, Fightful Select reported that one source expects the The Elites return could happen “imminently” which would mean as soon as tonight. If this is true, what would the Elite do? Do they set their sights right back onto the Trio’s Championships that were stripped from them from suspension? Elite vs. the current champions in Death Triangle would surely be a huge match to be made for AEW’s upcoming Full Gear Pay-Per-View! Or, Will Kenny set his sights back on the World Title and Jon Moxley? With Penta and Moxley both in the main event, it seems that would be the perfect place for the Elite to make their presence known. I guess we’ll have to wait to see if The Elite will be back in action tonight on AEW Dynamite.
